Good to know it serves a purpose. I hate to see any military base/post close. If it serves as the HR Command then it should remain open.

BTW, Ft Knox has many other purposes than just to guard the gold......
Translation, they turned over their gold, and received nothing but IOU's from the federal government.. Probably more IOU's that dont appear on the federal governments debt.
