There is something incredibly creepy and unseemly about all this. The NYT and WaPo have given up any pretense of being news organizations as they enlist their readers to help dig up dirt. Salon even has a live blog going on as people try to high-tech witch-hunt this woman. Did any of you libs yell for Obama's emails when he was senator? Hmm?
Any elected official with a minimum of sense isn't going to put anything incriminating in writing and then save it, especially when the delete button is so handy.
Over the last several years I have amassed several thousand official emails which can be subpoenaed and none of them would be incriminating or have any smoking gun. Same with my professional emails.
The sad thing is, the emails of every person Palin wrote was not blacked out....
I also saw several phone numbers that weren't redacted. I don't know what the process was regarding redaction in this case, but since portability was introduced to the assignment of phone numbers, I think people identify more strongly with their phone numbers than they have done in earlier decades, so I think this should have been a concern of the Alaskan government.

Why do you say that? Are you assuming there's something wrong or improper in them? I know Dems are always doing that sort of thing, but you do know that not everyone does.
Or are you declaring her guilty before any proof.
