Disarming the poor has been a popular past time for 1,000 s of years. You should read the list of proscribed knives on the law books of New Hampshire. My kitchen is way beyond the law - Too many knives with illegally long blades. The laws wear designed to disarm the poor and working classes. There were very few laws on guns because they were expensive enough to be limited to law enforcement and the wealthy.
