This is how our corporations practice disaster capitalism. They insinuate themselves into these fragile economies in third-world countries under the guise of "help", usually in the form of signing contracts they either don't understand, or that are overwhelming coercion. So it's heartening to see Haitians fighting back.

good for them.I wonder if Monsanto can sue them for having wind blown patented crops on their land like they do here. this corporate monster must be stopped

I don't like Monsanto because they like many other corporations abuse an antiquated system of copyright and patents... I wish this system would be abolished but as long as politicians have lobbyists, its never going to happen...
