Children shouldn't be taught anything about sex, because sex is dirty and immoral. Only married people, a man and a woman only, should have sex, and only because they want to make a baby. If they're not trying to make a baby, they shouldn't have sex. There is only one kind of sex a man and woman who are married should have: intercourse. There should be no foreplay, no mouths on body parts, no kissing. It doesn't matter if either of them are satisfied, because sex is dirty and immoral and they're not supposed to get pleasure from it. They're supposed to get pregnant from it.
Men and women who are infertile should not have sex at all, ever, of any kind.
Sex is nasty dirty icky immoral and gross and no one should ever be *taught* anything about it. Except on the wedding day, when the mom tells the daughter to open up and take what her husband gives her and she'd better get pregnant, and the dad tells the son where to put it and not to touch her after because then she is tainted with his filth.
The end.

You are aware that this is about 5 year olds right?....if you can find the necessity to teach 5 year olds (who biggest interest are power rangers) about sex then its no wonder this country is going down the tube...or were you just trying to be funny with sarcasm and failing miserably?
this country grades are falling behind and yet instead of worrying about math, you people find a need to teach 5 year olds to rub sand bags on each other...stuff like that use to be considered sick but judging from some of the comments here, sickness is the new "norm"...

Your sarcasm is duly noted. You're also correct! Go have your child hump the dog, stat!
Rightwingers love being sexual scolds and telling children how dirty their private parts are.
This should tell you all you need to know about who you should listen to in regards to sex education.
The Swiss or US right wingers.
The Swiss teen pregnancy rate (for the ages of 15-19) is just 4.3 per 1,000 women,[/b] compared with 9.9 per 1,000 in neighbouring Germany. In Britain the rate stands at 26 per 1,000, with the US the worst culprit in the western world at almost 42 per 1,000.
LOL....We have 10X the teen pregnancy rate and they think they can go around lecturing Americans about Europeans "infiltrating" the USA with their dirty "sex education"....LOL
Since it's been the Liberal left in command of our school systems, then you are saying that they've done a pi$s poor job of it. Parents should be talking to their children in a way to enlighten our young people to abstain from sex rather than allowing teachers to push ideological reasons for being more promiscuous. Public shools aren't designed to be baby sitting drop offs, yet politicians, the NEA and AFT seem to believe they are.
I agree with you completely. We need to bring back a more conservative proactive intelligence to parenting and teaching our kids.
Simply the fact that this "education" is coming from the United Nations is enough to make me 100% opposed to it.
The very idea that little Tin Pot Dictators from primitive countries are (albeit indirectly) having a say in the Sex Education of Swiss Children is beyond outrageous.

Is it? Where in the article linked to by the OP does it say that?

Um how many in that stat are illegals in America?
Oh and if you haven't noticed..Switsh*tzland is not to keen on open borders...
Are you saying that what children learn between 5 and 10 does not affect them between 12 and 18? I don't see how that's a sidestep, but I'll play along.
Are you just being coy ... or are you so clueless that you really don't understand that there is a difference between 5 year olds and 13 year olds ... particularly as it pertains to age appropriateness of topics?

Easy ... 5 year old = ZERO, with the exception of any questions they might ask their mother. In kindergarten class ... ZERO sex education.
Were you young once? At what age did you have sexual interests? Maybe it'd better to ask at what age do you think children have sexual interests? At 4 years or 5 years?
Ya know what, in Europe little girls seldom wear their swimsuit tops at the beach. Maybe they should be arrested for exhibitionism?
In Europe, they also sell padded bras to 8 year old girls .... and maybe you see nothing wrong with that?
Maybe we should install condom dispensers in the bathrooms of our elementary schools now? Yeah ... that's he ticket.
