Check out the dude in slide #6. Those pants. I wonder if those are riot pants.
Guess when you ain't got a job and are losing your entitlements, throw some Molotav cocktails, eh?
The government's popularity has plunged recently, and anti-government protests turned violent Wednesday, as demonstrators threw gasoline bombs at the Ministry of Finance and police fired tear gas at protesters, police said.
Tens of thousands of protesters had vowed to form a human shield around the parliament to prevent lawmakers from debating the new austerity measures Wednesday afternoon.
"This is a joke. It is all a joke," protester Christos Miliadakis, 35, said of the government plans.
"When will we be able to get out of this vicious circle? My wife lost her job. I had a 12% pay cut as a result of the first bailout. The new measures want to cut another 20% of jobs in the public sector," he said. "So if no one has money and we are just more in debt, who is going to drive the economy? We will live like slaves paying all our lives."
They were already living like slaves but didn't notice until their masters took away all the perks that made them feel taken care of. This is why NOT depending upon the government in your daily lives makes on more free. Choose to be financially independent and be responsible for your choices instead of looking for a government bailout for food, medical, retirement, etc.... !
The welfare spigot is shutting off in this country regardless of whether we inflate or not. It either shuts off because the checks won't buy anything meaningful (high inflation) or it shuts off because of austerity measures (deflation). Either way, this is in our future.
Too bad they called them "human rights" when they gave them. It makes it that much harder, when it is time to take them away.
It is happening here, with our own government granting rights that will soon need to be taken away.
This is the problem with people believing that government grants rights when the rights are already ours, granted by our Creator, and inalienable.
Dependency breeds resentment and distrust, always has, always will. Be independent, be free of the chains of government slavery clothed in "entitlement" programs.

It looks like they finally tracked down Santa Claus in slide 9, the cause of all the ruckus. He's gotten a lot slimmer since Mrs. Claus left him for Donner.
