And no, Obama has NOT gotten us out of Iraq, any more than he will get us out of Afghanistan. Leaving 50,000 troops and hiding all the war spending in the State Department and hired mercenaries is nothing but smoke-and-mirrors, while the Military-Industrial complex continues to strip our nation of any hope of surviving the next 10 years without mass starvation and total financial ruin of everyone except the ultra-greedy ultra-rich.

My first choices back in 2008 were Paul, Kucinich or Gravel, but I never thought Obama would turn out to be as bad as he is.

We were already throwing the money away so what difference does it make where it is?

There's nothing like restoring character to the White House and stressing accountability.

You're right, where is the outrage?

More people are concerned about the moral depravity of Congressman (former) Weiner, than what happened to this money.

Maybe it just went to the local electric company...

'Today’s Number of the Day is $20.2 billion.

That’s the amount the U.S. military spends every year on air conditioning in Iraq and Afghanistan: $20.2 billion.

NPR reports that figure is more than NASA’s budget. More than BP has paid so far for the damage it caused during the Gulf oil spill.

And it's what G-8 countries have pledged to help new democracies grow in Egypt and Tunisia.'
