the whole article is interesting, but this to me stands out:

In a free-market economy that respects property rights, the volume of private debt is self-policed by the necessity to repay the creditor, since no Papa Government is letting you off the hook.

papa government has let too many people off the hook, making too many bad calls and crooked decisions. these people are no better than thieves, KNOWINGLY packaging fraudelent bundles, and foisting them on unsuspecting/too trusting investors until they just can't do it anymore.

let them eat crow, not us.
Thank you floridasandy; you sure know the score, and have their number, boy are your right! I really would like them all to eat a bit more then crow, know what i mean?

Am watching the news, there are also riots in Barcelona now...
The problem with socialism is when you run out of other people's money all hell breaks loose.

I do empathize with the people though. Some of their complaints about the money going to banks is true. The banks need to take a haircut and call it a day. A couple execs will miss out on bonuses big deal.

Americans better wake up! This couldn't happen here? LMAO! Yeah righ! Look at who's protesting in these riots and what age demographic is being represented. Now compare that with which demographic is the most disenfranchised right now in the USA. You betcha! There are going to be a lot of pissed off 18-25 years olds in the USA with a lot of pent up anger and resentment! And you know what!! GOOD FOR THEM IF THEY BLOW OFF A LITTLE STEAM and take to the streets! I support them! They've been lied to their entire lives! They are living under one of the most corrupt and tyrannical governments our country has ever seen! It won't be the baby boomers out there protesting and rioting saving the USA. It will be our youth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's happening in Greece needs to happen in the USA. But things would turn much more violent much more quickly in the USA that's for sure. The police have very itchy trigger fingers in this country and most are cowards only willing to beat up on drunks, old people, and otherwise defenseless citizens. Maybe when the rich and our corrupt politicians start to see their infrastructure destroyed and their way of life threatened for once they will listen to the people and wise up and gives us back our country. God bless the Greeks! A brave and courageous people!

Haha so what else you got? Let's here them......come on buddy I'm sure you can shell out a lot more tired old cliches about "isms" right? I mean you sound like a Fox News talking point.

The problem with Greece is that the banksters have hijacked their economy by creating a debt based monetary system out of thin air and charging the people of Greece money on this power to print endlessly. It has nothing to do with socialism genius. If you studied world history and the collapse of economies i.e. Iran, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, etc. it has everything to do with currency debasement via international bankers. Many "socialist" countries have tried to nationalize their banks and oil supplies and guess who shows up trying to overthrow them by supporting tinpot dictators or starting unnecessary wars..........yeah that wonderful American organization called the CIA. Another clueless American kool aid drinker!

The best economies in the world right now are mixed economies with strong governmental oversight nurturing and otherwise funding a capitalist economy. I.e. Germany, Norway, Brazil, China etc. Some are communistic, some are socialist. But they are all doing much better than the plutocracy that is the USA.

Yeah and when it gets bad in America you're the type that will be sitting behind his computer biting his fingernails wondering why you're not living behind a gated community with Blackwater type security surrounding your home. I mean after all it's the rich that provide everything in America right? Aren't you one of them? Or just another lemming willing to follow the liars and shills off the fascist cliff?

Greece already has 1 foot out the door.
All these bailouts keep doing is prolonging the inevitable.

The thieves have stolen about as much wealth from the US they can. Maybe a little more before they let her crash and burn. You see what has happened to the market the last few weeks when the Fed won't be propping it up anymore printing up billions. Meanwhile the stooges in DC argue over cutting a million bucks here and there like the idiots they are.
