Plus we all kinda swooned over that beach photo, guys included. He's a total dreamboat. Makes me tingly just to think about it.
That's not a tingle... It's Chris Matthews gnawing on your leg.

Well here in Ontario Canada our provincial deficit is like 24 billion or something.
I'm blaming Obama on that. It must be his fault. After all, everything else is.
Oh ya, Obama and that freaking Gore!!! They have managed to cut back on those greenhouse gasses you know. Those gasses that us Canuks depend on to keep the country half way warm for a couple of months of the year. The weather has just gone nuts and I'm still wearing a warm jacket everytime I go out. Now I figure I'm really on to something here. This is something we just can't blame on GW Bush. The weather here was just fine as long as the republicans were in charge of it!!!!!!!

True. And i damn sure don't see the need in whining about it 2 years later. What's done is done. Besides, i don't see any groundswell for "what might have been" under McCain/Palin. There must be a good reason for that.

So, I think the younger generation that was so enamored with the village idiots rhetoric and **** and bull promises will be waking up to the fact that they were taken as well as the rest of the lib's.

I fully realize we need to stop the free give aways but I find it hilarious that every day we see Obamie's buddies get millions in stimulus, Obamie's buddies get good government jobs, Obamie's buddies get waviers from Obama care., millions a day to invade Libya, spending more money on a round of golf that one kid gets for his entire education. BUT, The kids get Pell grants taken away..

Good God, this guy is a total freaking moron..

Oh, and between golf and fund raising dinners he.........

President Obama will be briefed by his economic team in the Oval Office on Wednesday, the first such meeting in more than a month.

Economic briefing returns to Obama's schedule - latimes.com

Gotta keep up on that thingy doodle you know the ehhh shoot.. Oh, yeah the eecoonommieeee
Pell grants are for low income families. According to Republicans the American dream is out there, you just need to work hard for it. So tell your son to work for his college tuition. Why are you blaming Obama for not doing YOUR job. Why are you relying on the government to provide for you. You want to stop giveaways to others but not when it affects you. Wow

But now they do.

When 2012 comes around though there will be the new batch of 18-23 year olds voting on ideals and dreams.
Yeah, but a lot of them have older siblings, cousins, and friends who got snookered by Obama's Hope 'N Change pig in a poke and were left empty-handed. The damage Obama has done to his younger voters' future prospects is glaringly obvious.

Obama ADDED to the Pell Grant fund in 2010. However, in 2011 he proposed to decrease the amount. That part of his budget proposition has since been rescinded. The increase was part of the Health Reform Bill.

He also reduced the time of repayment (which then federal loans are thus forgiven) and with eliminating the middle man saved a few percentage points in interest for those taking out student loans.

McCain, while favoring slower rates of increase for tuition also favored more "competition" for student loans. Essentially, a laissez faire approach to this sector of the financial market. This has proved disastrous in the home loan sector and is proving to be a bad call now.

Job creation in construction projects ensured those that did not go to college would at least have a chance at a job. I personally know a few people that have worked on infrastructure projects financed by the recovery. My autism center received federal stimulus money.

The fact is that he is not perfect. He has played politics with the far right and business interests. Its sad, but that's the way it currently is in America. Liberal has become a dirty word instead of just a word. However, liberal policies help the youth.

Did you HAVE a job after graduation? Many of the Obama years college grads don't.

No, it was a full three months before I had a temporary data entry "job," and I won't talk about all the extended gaps in employment that began well before Obama even started his campaign.

It's funny to be justifying just how badly I've failed; usually I'm trying to cover it up!

Personal anecdotes aside, the actual data is what it is...

...Among the members of the class of 2010, just 56 percent had held at least one job by this spring, when the survey was conducted. That compares with 90 percent of graduates from the classes of 2006 and 2007.
