Wow.
Congratulations, you have discovered one of the effects of a bad economy.

Hmmm... that's not what DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz said...
Quote:
The economy, she said, “has turned around” since President Obama took office, with steady job growth evident even if the pace leaves something to be desired.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz: ?We own the economy? - Molly Ball - POLITICO.com

Guess she didn't get the memo on the sharply declining college grad employment data.

So you are blaming Obama for not giving out enough handouts to your lazy kid?

Private job loss/growth since the recession started. It's not good. It's a damn sight better than 2008.

I agree, sounds like typical republican hypocrisy to me. If he can't afford to go to college, too bad. Get a job and stop relying on the government to provide for them. That's the republican way

Except for recent college grads. The data:
Quote:
...Among the members of the class of 2010, just 56 percent had held at least one job by this spring, when the survey was conducted. That compares with 90 percent of graduates from the classes of 2006 and 2007.
- NYT article previously cited.

From 90% to 56%. That's quite a decrease.

I'm pretty sure the economy tanked and jobs were being lost before Obama was POTUS. McCain wouldn't have been any different. Everyone knows it but still want to pretend otherwise. Wierd.

Wow, Obama took office in the very worst month. Suggests that things might have kept going downhill if it weren't for him.

Because he promised things to the kids! Everyone Deserves a education is one of his sayings! Now that is going away and I am wondering why frankly! They are spending money on stupid **** and pell grants are frankly a good thing.
