There are a few incidental mentions of race in the Bible (e.g., that Ethiopian's skin was different, Jeremiah 13:23), but there is nothing saying one race is superior to another. Moses was married to a Cu****e (Ethiopian) woman (Numbers 12:1-16), and God was angry with Aaron and Miriam for criticizing that marriage.

I think marriage is an individual decision shouldn't be subject to other people's approval. If you don't want to date or marry outside your race, that is fine. But try not to force others to live the way you do. Live and let live, Life is simple that way. As a mixed individual, yes, life could be challenging, but it is also a lot of fun. "no wonder you are so good looking" is always a plus. =)

Most Americans Approve of Interracial Marriages

The answer to your question is no.

The USSC has no Constitutional authority to strike down any law.

What's the point of the USSC then?

If "you" believe that a majority makes every decision in America, then "you" don't understand the principles of America.

No human has, or has ever had the right to decide whom one can marry or not marry, by Race or National Origin. That would make us no different than the Nazis with their Genetic manipulation.

The US specifically has done this until the 1960s, so apparently the government had the right to do so.

Of course there is self selection and the statistics that bear out the fact that certain groups are more compatible than others. ie. Indians don't out marry at a high rate. East Asians out marry, typically F to W male at a high rate. WF out marry to BM at a greater rate then WM BF, but the later is much more enduring.

The Biblical reference regardin Moses seems to refer to ethnicity/culture, rather than race. Additionally, noting a physical characteristic of an ethnic group doesn't make the reference racial. Modern racial ideology is very recent in human history, but because it is so pervasive in a ceertain societies, people tend racialize history in ways that were nonexistent then.

But I agree with you...live and let live.

With Indians, it is a cultural practice, not simply racial. They don't marry non-Indians often. Even within Indian society, there are often other marriage restrictions, especially if you are Hindu, as most are.
