As a faith, yes. As a geopolitical arm, no.

I voted yes. One can be a conservative Christian and still respect Muslims and Islam as a religious faith.

I don't know if you can or anybody else.

Why does religion automatically have to equal righteous and pure and good in everyone's eyes.

All religions are not good. And that fact is painfully obvious with Islam which is nothing but a cult like contradiction.

Talk about worshiping a false prophet.

I would say no even though I'm not a conservative. I don't like the way Islam treats women.

Absolutely agree! There is a big difference between the Muslim "faith" and the radical Muslim "interpretation" of the Koran being used as the weapon of terror to force the world into kowtowing to the Muslim Radical Clerics or die!

No one, liberal or conservative, should respect a malevolent cult that masquerades as a religion. The "good Muslims" are those people who for whatever reason don't follow their religion exactly. Islam is absolutely evil, destructive, cult like, and should not be respected.

This is not a conservative/liberal issue.

Of course you can. Only a fool thinks that Islam is inherently evil. See the above post. I'm the furthest thing from a conservative, but I think most intelligent conservatives do not feel like that.
