Now they want to ban apps that tell you where DUI roadblocks are located.

If you like freedom, you should always vote for the opponent of the Dems.

DUI checkpoints should be totally illegal anyway.

Dems = Big brother and big government and less freedom.

Both Democrats and Republicans are afraid of ticking off MADD. You should direct your ire at them. Better yet, don't drink and drive.

Better yet, don't presume I am guilty by stopping me for no reason while driving down the road.

DUI roadblocks are unconstitutional and an invasion of privacy. They presume you are guilty and you have to prove you are innocent.

But you must be a Dem.... they hate freedom and love big government.

Dems and freedom are at odds with each other.

So everyone must be stopped and checked and declared "not drunk" so they can continue driving ?

Guilty until proven innocent because driving drunk is against the law.

Never.

Since when did guilty until proven innocent become the law of the land?

Obviously, you are a big government Dem, so innocent until proven guilty is a foreign concept to you.

It didn't, but when did cops pulling people over who are not suspected of committing any crime, become okay with so many?

It has nothing to do with party affiliation. Like I said, MADD is powerful, and both parties are afraid of it.

As to the constitutionality of them, it appears that the SCOTUS disagreed with you: Top 20 U.S. Supreme Court Decisions Affecting DUI Laws and Procedures: Michigan v. Sitz, 496 U.S. 444 (1990) (Page 1 of 4) - caselaw.duicenter.com

I love freedom, and I have the DD214 to prove it. I also believe in responsibility. If you don't want to get busted, don't do the crime.

Correct. If I'm driving down the road obeying every law, there should be no authority whatsoever that can pull me over for any reason.

The only way to fight this is to boycott the cities that have DUI roadblocks, and support the apps that warn people of these police state Democrat actions.
