No. I think Obama should be held responsible. Sorry that I don't associate liberal-statist government worship with devotion to ones nation.

Now that Obama is in charge, we all have to accept that collateral damage is a blameless crime.

Dupe thread by the way:

Shame on you President Obama. He is ultimately responsible because he makes the calls.

Libya Says NATO Bombed Residential Area In Tripoli, Killed Civilians
Nonsense: He's no more to blame than Canada's or Britain's Prime Ministers.
You folks have got to let go of this idea of your forces always being the only ones involved!

O'bama authorized the using of U.S. military resources in a NATO run operation and as such his commanders in the field answer to the Commander Elect of the over-all mission. In that sense. It could very well be a British ordered mission cobbled together from intel gleaned from U.S. satellite imagery using Canadian jets and one of those 30 year old jets had a missle hang-up or a rubber band broke.

In this case your attempt to have the "buck stop here" at Obama's feet is incorrect.

Accept it...or demand he be tried on war crimes...or rant and rave on the Internet with false indignation.

If I was president, before intervening in a foreign country, I would promise destruction and death. Problem solved. Our military is built to kill and that is what it should be used for.

Free country...as in free to bomb other countries that pose no threat to us at will and suffer no consequence.

Ironic.

America has had it's fill of war mongering presidents, so your election is unlikely.
Under what pretense would you promise death and destruction on a country that poses no threat?

They had no problem with Libya until Obama actually did what they suggested either.

This is not a duplicate thread. I am talking about the responsibility of our President, this isn't me making an announcement of the news. I'm trying to place the topic of discussion on culpability of the killing of civilians.

Time to call a spade a spade. This is a way.
