Hahaha! I call fake, but it's still kind of amusing.
I never had the gumption to go out and purchase a weapon until someone attempted to break into my house while my wife was home alone. Luckily, the would-be robber didn't like dogs.
Still, it's important to realize that the police cannot protect you; by the time they get there whatever happened will have happened. They will investigate and do their best to catch the bad guys, but at the end of the day, you have to protect yourself.
For the most part, I consider myself a pacifist, but I believe that it's prudent to take reasonable measures to protect yourself from others visiting violence upon you. That said, I've always supported a right to own firearms as is spelled out in the US Constitution.
Still, in the name of crime prevention, I think that shooting people with security cameras is far more effective. I think the same can be said about civil disobedience against government abuse - the best thing to do is to get them on film.
Rude, mean spirited, unneighborly, and poor grammar to boot.
photoshopped
Mean spirited? How so? Likely that same neighbor is an activist looking to take away his law abiding neighbor's RKBA. Do you really think the grammar police are going to stop a home invasion?

Getting someone on film only contributes to law enforcement and prosecution after a crime has occurred. Cameras do not protect/prevent anyone from suffering bodily harm at the hands of a predator.
With all due respect, your outlook is naive at best.
Cute, but could be considered an assault because it endangers the neighbor by advertizing their presumed inability to defend themselves. I know that if I were the neighbor and robbed I would press accessory to robbery charges as well as sue in civil court.
I guess if one wants to promote an anti-gun agenda, they should be perfectly preparded to suffer the consequences of such decisions. Perhaps he should buy a gun or two to be able to defend his anti-gun position.
