Golly, another leftwing troll thread. The mods here insert themselves in threads all the time and I've never seen one in this forum who wasn't a dedicated leftist so threads like this are fine with them as long as it bashes the right people. The personal attacks from lefties that go on here daily are also routinely ignored by the mods.
This whole place is a joke but occasionally entertaining.
While these are all fine and good, but are not true today. For instance, to say liberals care about personal freedoms is idiotic. They, along with the R's, do everything they can to destroy freedoms.

This just shows that you don't understand the terminology like many Americans who throw term around as insults with no understanding of their meaning.
Liberals are still liberals. That has never changed.
The only thing I can't understand is the "Tea Party." Sometimes it's conservative, sometimes it's libertarian, other times it's God-knows-what. As near as I can tell, it's just an umbrella for anyone who's slightly crazier than the average Republican.

The original Tea Party was started in the spirit of Ron Paul:
As the liberty movement that the Tea Party represented became more and more popular the RINOs began to hijack the idea and distort the Tea Party Movement into the TEA PARTY™
Now, newcomers to the new and not improved TEA PARTY™ think the movement has ALWAYS been about "Let's Destroy Barack Obama's Political Career and Re-Install a Corporate GOP Politician in the White House!"

ROFLMAO! The original TEA Party Movement held their first Tax Day Protest on April 15, 1978, and Ron Paul had absolutely nothing to do with it. The TEA Party Movement also held a Tax Day Protest on April 15, 1993, and once again Ron Paul had absolutely nothing to do with it. Only a Paulite fanatic feels compelled to rewrite history to place their GOD at the center of it all.
Do Liberals Know the Difference Between Conservatives, Libertarians and Republicans?
I was asking myself that yesterday when a poster who supported Ron Paul because they insisted Ron Paul was a big time liberal, because liberals were for small limited government, and it was conservatives who passed bills like Obamacare into law
Their link of course to back this up went to a UK website about libertarians. They went on to call me all sorts of names like "hostile freak" for simply pointing out that their own link had liberalism next to fascism on a political spectrum, opposite of conservatives.

What should have been obvious is that I was referring to the CURRENT MANIFESTATION of the phrase "Tea Party" which has no DIRECT connection with the events of the 1970s.
How could that not be obvious?
By the way, how come people who can't argue against the pure reason of Ron Paul's positions always feel the need to call his supporters childish names like "Paulite"?
Is it frustration?
