Libertarianism has been touted as the wave of America’s political future for many years, generally with more enthusiasm than evidence. But there are some tangible signs that Americans’ attitudes are in fact moving in that direction.

The fact we live in a society that has stupid laws like The Patriot Act and the Violence Against Women Act (which are unconstitutional) speaks volumes to how stupid Americans are.

The fact Ron Paul didn't even come close to winning at the election a couple of years ago should tell you all you need to know about the pathetic society we live in

It is boiling down to only two really choices, either the authoritarians from the left right and middle, vs, the rest of us who just want to live and let live.

The problem is there are a lot more authoritarians than the rest of us.

And the authortarians are touted as "mainstream" while the freedom-lovers are tinfoil hat kooks

It is funny how Ron Paul gets labeled by the media as "crazy" "out there" and any other term you can think to match crazy when all he speaks in what this country was founded on. This country was founded on Liberty and Freedom from an overpowering govt. and Dr. Paul is one of the only ones who stands up for that, and that makes him crazy. Unreal.

That's because the media and a majority of the people have lived with Dems and Reps for so long they think that the status quo is "normal". So anyone else is crazy.

It's quite unfortunate that not many people will take the time to really understand the Libertarian philosophy.

Here is a site you might want to consider.

The only concrete examples he gives is greater "social" libertarianism...No argument there. .Let's see when Americans start shedding their benefits....and then when they see the results...want to shed more benefits.....Sure!
