First, most of the Democrats that are anti-war are to the LEFT of the President. The President is currently sitting square in the middle. The idea that, somehow, people to the left of the President are "waking up" to find people even further to the left (who don't exist) are taking over the party is patently absurd.
Second, he is talking about the Presidency in general, not this single President... although he has contributed to it as others have as well. I know it is difficult to follow sound thought, but you should try it sometime.
