"Easy for them to say, they have no skin in the game." Ya right the rich got a tax brake so that they could create jobs with the money. Where did they create the jobs? China and India. Every one has a skin in the game. The payroll tax is paid by the bottom half and the income tax by the top half.
So the middle class tax increase to pay for theri own services were not warranted..guess it is ok for the wealthy to pay for everyone elses services...that is the "FAIR" way to do it...

And they are doing it in China and India not here.

"When was the last time a poor person hired anyone?" You are really good at reciting the rhetoric. But do you know what it means? The poor people are who pay the rich person's bills buy buying their goods and services.

The majority of the tax breaks went to the middle class. Even Obama finally admitted that with his tax cuts he authorized in December.

This whole class warfare thing seems rather "European"...childish....

Why don't they just vote to kill everyone except themselves and be done with it?

Obama would just be allowing the previous tax cuts for the rich expire - do they want to give one penny away? No, because they are rich, selfish and greedy.

I "give back" nearly 50% of my income with federal, state, and payroll taxes combined.

How much do you pay?

OK if the rich had used the extra money they got in the tax brakes to grow the middle class I'd say you had a point.

In the last bubble this is what happened. People borrowed money in foreign countries and bought bonds in the US. Those bonds were used to finance the buying of consumer goods and houses. That is what set up the mess we are in. Upping the top tax rate will tend to keep this from happening again. I think that this is "Fair".

Ha, ha chuckles...your clueless.

Again, if our President and congress would pass more business friendly laws, Business would look ot hire more...geez, stop shining and blaming others.

Yes, poor people buy goods...but do not hire people. And what is your point?
Its a free market, people can buy what ever they want...

Let us see if we upped the minimum wage by 4X then we would have a bigger tax base on the bottom end and more income on the bottom end as well and the would tend to push the prices of houses higher and the will undo the popping of the last bubble. There are about 20% of the workforce that is out of work. Where are the Jobs that the rich are supposed to be giving them? Like an entitlement? You earn your pay by working hard.
