If NY doesn't pass the law, all the gay people (in my fantasy world) would pack up and leave and go to another State, and say "Eff, NY".....I wonder how the mayor would like that???
each state should not be different regarding marrage, we are a nation of one and what is good for Arkansas should be good for Vermont should be good for Nevada......
It makes no sense to have a yes in one state and a no in another....
then all they Gay folk should go to a yes state....I know, easier said than done, but ya'll get the idea
1. Why do you want all gays in New York to leave the state?
2. How would you force all states to have the same marriage laws? Constitutional amendment? Or Supreme Court intervention?
3. You then say that all gays should go to a "yes state", but that contradicts your desire for all states to have the same laws.
I had read that if Saland came out for it that other Republicans would follow suit. They certainly DID!!!! 36-26 in FAVOR of the Bill!
