I have far less difficulty accepting the marriage of a middle age man and a 16 year old girl than I do two men "marrying". Women have been marrying that young and younger since the beginning of time with society's blessings. People of the same sex marrying has never been an acceptable practice.
News that "Lost's" Doug Hutchison, 51, had married a 16-year-old girl sparked outrage this week -- both over the general skeeviness of it (the groom is four years older than the bride's father), and the fact that such a partnership is actually legal with parental permission in Las Vegas. (But a marriage between two gay adults? Nope.)
There was a time in this country when this would not have been considered unusual. Since he is a "young" 51 and she is a very (very) "mature" 16 (physically at least), I don't see a problem with it.
Look at this "music video" of her- but *WARNING- the viewing of this video may cause the bleeding of the ears, the sudden urge to pop your eyes, scream hysterically, cry uncontrollably, cause the twitching of the eyelids, go psychotic, suddenly run naked out in the street, and/or become traumatized. Beware.

Wow. Why don't we let 60 year olds marry 12 year old girls because back in the days that was also acceptable?

No 16 year old male in his right mind would marry a 51 year old female
