The girl died after the explosives on her body were ignited....
If anybody tells me that kids shouldn't be checked at the airports, then they are crazy!
My kids have ever since 9/11 been subject of similar checks as we as adults and I never had any issue with that, neither had my kids, they thought it was interesting when they were young...now my oldest finds it strange that she is often picked out like yesterday at the airport when they find it necessary to have her carry on to be placed in the example box to see if it would fit....while people with way bigger carry ons didn't have to do the same.
But that is the life of a beautiful young girl...just live with it and any parent complaining about kids being checked....look what these crazy muslims are doing..they blow up their kids to kill others! Because they believe in a better life after death....they don't care about anything but their own crazy believes and that the entire world needs to accept their religion and otherwise shoudln't be on this planet.
That means we should strip search every 8 year old in American airports.
It's not just airports. Haven't you heard of VIPR ?
It's TSA-to-go, a mobile unit, highly visible due to their swat uniforms and they literally swoop into a public transportation place and conduct mandatory screenings/gropings.
So even if you don't fly doesn't mean they won't get to you. They will eventually.
You know what, these incidents are going to happen. We cannot have it both ways, either we and children are searched, or not. There are home grown terrorists also, who are nuts. As much as i do not want our children searched, i am also torn of wanting them searched, it is a no win situation. For if we put our guard down, you just never know what can happen. I truly am conflicted on this issue.

You are far more likely to die in a car accident than by terror attack.
So the TSA should hire several million agents to check each of us before we get behind the wheel to make sure we aren't too tired or haven't been drinking or taking drugs.

There are adults that have NEVER known what it was like to board a plane with no security searches whatsoever.
That's how long we've been searching passengers. They grew up with it and now they are adults and see nothing wrong with taking it to the next step.
