Unions are the useful idiots of big government. I remember someone in history playing up to the trade unions. That is, until they were able to consolidate power and remove the redundant and inefficient governmental structure caused by that pesky and non-cooperative Reichstag.

But nice try. This is pretty ridiculous.
Do you really think that responding with logic and common sense will carry any weight in response to a post that was illogical and obtuse? The Americans that don't get the big picture of how this undermines our working class will never get it or just don't care. Not very patriotic...are they?

and when you are clueless about what your doing walking that fine line between failure and success, odds are you're going to be on the loosing end of the deal.

Ever been skrewed in the barter deal, when you provide the service and get the bait & switch, for you part of the deal?

it's hard to believe that people actually think this way.

In the 1960's one out of every four jobs was in manufacturing. Now one in TEN jobs in this country is in manufacuturing.

Since the 1980's middle class incomes have basically stagnated while the upper 10% have enjoyed the majority of the income gains in this country. The biggest losers in globalization are skill trades and manufacturing people in the United States particularly in the Midwest that have seen hundreds of thousands of jobs sent overseas.

The politicians in San Francisco have more important things to do than saving jobs and outsourcing them to China. They have to pass a law to save the goldfish. Much more important things going on there.

The Chinese laborers (aka coolies) that largely built the railroads of western US and Canada would have jumped at that kind of pay! In the mid 1800's they made 28 bucks a month...
