You might want to take a look at how those plants are built relative to wood frame houses and walmarts.
An EF5 tornado would make a mess of one of those plants for sure but the chances of such a strong tornado hitting one is very small since they are rare. A weaker tornado certainly will hit one eventually.

Being local to Joplin I have seen EF5 damage first hand along with Greensburg and Parkersburg. If you are in the Joplin area anytime soon I highly recommend going to see the damage before it gets cleaned up. In the 1999 OKC F5, the Doppler on wheels measured a 301 mph wind speed. Bizarre things start to happen in such a strong tornado.
