The Loony Libs, I mean progressives, want to ban pets because of animal cruelty. San Francisco just sounds like an awful, oppressive place to live.
Quote:
The ban would cover everything from dogs and cats to snakes, lizards, guinea pigs, parrots, mice and rats.
All mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds and fish would be banned from sale in pet stores in what would be the most radical measure of its kind in the Unite States.
Those behind the proposal want to end impulse buying of animals, which they say can lead to unnecessary cruelty, and to stop them being treated as “commodities.”
Just the next step in the terminal case of political correctness that has taken that city hostage. They have an outpost on our local university campus, here in Oregon. The next thing will be to ban the sale of birdseed for feeders, as they'll claim it makes the wild birds behave unnaturally.
What an odd thread to resurrect after 6 years. They didn't ban pet stores in San Francisco so why dig this up? SFO does plenty of things all the time to mock and ridicule if you just want to bash them.
