You're better off going after her farm subsidies which account for much more.

Per the article in the OP link:

"..$137,000 for the treatment of patients since 2005.."
Dont you know that money goes right into their pocket forget the bills at the clinic and employee pay oh now they pocket that 1902.00 every month. Shhhhh dont tell......

Nice try. Your attempt to belittle the amount of income as a defense of receipt is transparent and a beneath you. Surely you can do better?

The $161,000 in payments from the Minnesota Department of Human Services to her husband's clinic appear to contradict some of Michelle Bachmann's public accounts this week when she was first asked about the extent to which her family has benefited from government aid.
This has nothing to do with her lifestyle, nice try, you were doing better when you proclaimed the hypocrisy defense though you slipped when you aimed it in the wrong direction...so much for the benefit of doubt.

While Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., has forcefully denounced the Medicaid program for swelling the "welfare rolls," the mental health clinic run by her husband has been collecting annual Medicaid payments totaling over $137,000 for the treatment of patients since 2005, according to new figures obtained by NBC News.

STOP...

Per year? Is that what she said?

When asked by anchor Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday" about the story's assertion that her husband's counseling clinic had also gotten federal and state funds, Bachmann replied that it was "one-time training money that came from the federal government. And it certainly didn't help our clinic."
Interesting.

Interesting.
$137K over 6 years AVERAGES out to $23K per year.

Honestly..do you think medicaid just wrote a single check for $137K payable to Mr. Bachmann ?

You tell us. Maybe it was "one-time training money that came from the federal government.

The previously unreported payments are on top of the $24,000 in federal and state funds that Bachmann & Associates, the clinic founded by Marcus Bachmann, a clinical therapist, received in recent years under a state grant to train its employees, state records show.
Clearly you're not paying attention...

But state records show that Bachmann & Associates has been collecting payments under the Minnesota's Medicaid program every year for the past six years.
Interesting. Which position will you defend.

Well it said payments (plural) not payment so I'm assuming it was more than a single check.
And they had to go back as far as 2005 to get that total.

Well that knocks out "one time training money" "that certainly didn't help" doesn't it?

Well that article cherry picked what they wanted to take from that FOIA.
We really don't know the payment breakdown with details.

That's the problem these days with articles..they don't give all the data on which to base an opinion.

So I guess we should call it a draw on our debate.

Forced? Uh...not really.

That was "training money" for her husbands employees. Why didn't he pay for the training out of his own pocket since he owned the counseling practice?

I sure as hell can use 1902 bucks a month, and so can you. Why do you deem the amount to be so insignificant?
