You miss the entire point of viable.
You're being disingenuous if you're saying that they could live without extraordinary measures.
And I'm sure that not all of them survived.

Nice personal anecdote though. Glad they made it through for you, since that's apparently what you wanted.
?? So someone who is not able to survive after a car crash without extraordinary means doesn't have a right to life? After all they are not viable according to your definition, so we have the right to kill them? Hey, how about a newborn without outside help they can't survive, so I guess we can kill them.

Congratulations.

Medical technology is at the point where half-2/3's of babies born at 24/25 weeks survive. Even at 23 weeks, the survival rate is 20-35 %. At 26/27 weeks, 90% survive.

I guess to rabid 'choicers,' viability means certain survival with no icu.

Third Trimester Abortion Laws: State by State
From your link...

Quote:
The following states have no post-viability restrictions whatsoever:

1. Alaska
2. Colorado
3. Hawaii
4. Mississippi
5. New Hampshire
6. New Jersey
7. New Mexico
8. Oregon
9. Vermont
10. West Virginia

A person in any of these states can walk into any clinic and have a third trimester abortion with no questions asked. All she needs is to find an abortionist willing to perform it.

You know who does that Tony? Women who desperately want their baby.

But something goes horribly wrong.

The woman is in danger of losing her life.

The baby is horribly deformed and will suffer terribly only to die soon after birth.

And then, as if losing a child she desperately wanted isn't enough, the pro-life crowd will call her a murderer and persecute her if given the chance.

Sad, isn't it?

As you saw, with your own two eyes, women that were seeking to abort in the third tri-mester, just because they wanted to.....were turned away.

Just more FACTS that pro-lifers refuse to acknowledge.

So, that means there ARE people who want to abort in the third-trimester just because they want to...?

Hypocrisy is your answer , the ppl of the United States of America
make laws according to the " Majority Rule " principal and the Majority
has spoken on the Abortion issue.
