Calling Obama a racist, leading to boycotts and a loss of sponsors, plus his ratings have been dropping like a rock...all these things contributed to Beck's downfall.

Obama IS a racist. Always has been. Now on to Beck, MM had not a damn thing to do with any of it. Keep lying to yourself if it makes you feel better. I've never heard of a company that fired someone, yet still let's them promote their next adventure on THEIR airwaves and teams up the so-called fired employee with a producer from that same company to start a new network. Have you ever heard of this happening before?

Maddow reminds me of a lesbian version of Bill O'Reilly. A real jackass who gets under your skin by using straw men, ad hominems, and just generally unprofessional behavior. However, they are both relatively harmless.
Beck was not harmless. Old people get confused easily, and he targeted them. He did not deserve to be on television. He had my 85 year old grandma believing that the use of the word "Czar" meant that Obama was trying to turn us into communists. Nevermind that the czars fought the communists.
I don't watch Rachel much anymore. I find her too much of an administration mouthpiece. However, she gets the top ratings at MSNBC, so she's not going anywhere..
