Is he in favor of revising the Constitution or does he just not understand the basics of it??? Didn't the left make fun of the newly elected GOP's, who proposed remedial review classes of the Constitution? Don't know if they are actually doing this, but it certainly would not be a waste of time - at least for those who really want to abide by the ultimate law of the land.

That is funny!

I guess he got 'caught up in the moment'.

I hope he goes back to that group and says:

"Ah, as for the part about growing up to be President? I was a little bit out of line about that. Reality check: the best you can hope for is to be a gardener at the White House".

How DARE he try to embolden residents who were encouraged to come here by American businesses and politicians alike.

It's okay, Republicans. Continue to marginalize this demographic. It doesn't offend legal Hispanic residents. Not at all.

Nice deflection.

The LAW is the LAW. The Senator is hired to know and follow the U.S. Constitution, even if he is a Democrat.

Nice deflection? How about telling your conservative buddies to stop encouraging people to come here illegally? But, then again I wouldn't expect that from people who give the likes of Michelle Malkin a free pass.

so us not wanting illegal immigrants offends legal 'hispanic' residents, huh? if so, then those legal 'hispanic' residents can get the hell out too. legal 'hispanic' residents who support illegal immigration are no better than the illegals.

you're in the minority here, pal, because the majority of americans support sealing that border hard.

What "free pass" is Michelle Malkin getting? Or did I miss seeing her name in the 2012 election POTUS candidates?

BTW, in case you don't get it, this post really isn't about illegals and the DREAM act as much as it is about a U.S. Senator not knowing - or disregarding - the Constitution.

There was once talk of ammending the constitution so that Schwarzenegger could run for President after he turned Kaleeforneeya around.

Unfortunately, that didn't really pan out.

What? That we didn't amend the Constitution for Arnie or that he didn't do anything for California?

I know a lot of Republicans that thought he was the next Reagan. Unfortunately he turned out to be a RINO and has just been a bad leader.
