You are all being conned. Saudi Arabia puts this out in order for Israel and the USA propagandize it, for an excuse to start yet another war.
Could you start a new thread on the fascinating topic of how the US is going to use ABC as an excuse to attack Iran?

We haven't had one in a few weeks and I'd hate for our near decade long streak of these predictions to come to a stop.

-Ditto for Hamas. It could not exist without Iran financing and weapons.

As we speak, the Revolutionary Guards are inside Syria directing the massacres of the Syrian democrats. The Guards were sanctioned last week by the EU for these crimes against humanity.

Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Middle East, and indeed the world, has very good reason to fear the Islamic Republic.
Iran has chilled out somewhat in Iraq ever since we started funding some terror groups to plant bombs in their marketplaces, tit for tat and all that.

OMG....sanctioned by the EU? In what? A tersely worded letter? Those pikers couldn't\wouldn't even do crap about Bosnia in their own back yard LOL and all Iran has to do is slip Russia some $$$ and then EU starts having oil pipeline problems. Toothless old dogs growling from the porch.

Saudi Arabia has actually never fought a war with Israel. All of Israel's wars were against Lebanon, the Palestinians, Jordan, Egypt, and Syria. The Saudis really do not care about the Palestinians that much. Iran is a much bigger threat to Saudi Arabia now that Iraq has been neutralized.

Iran and Israel have also never fought before and their relations were never this bad before Ahmadinejad came to power. Iran did support Hezbollah as a proxy in Lebanon but that was more out of hating America following the Islamic Revolution.

We need to stand firm and not support any Islamic fanatics anywhere in hindsight it was wrong to support the Egyptian and Libyan rebels, the Kosovars, the Bosnians, or the Afghan mujahideen, especially the Afghan mujahideen.

Religious zealots in Iran don't care if they die. Remember, they beat back Saddam not because of their military ability, but because they sent waves of human targets at the front lines until they overwhelmed them. The Iraqi's lost about a quarter of the people in the Iran/Iraq war, but Iran still won.

Like I said, MAD works, until someone doesn't care if they die.
Have you followed the Pak-Indian conflict?

Just because they can whip some 16yo kids into a religious fervor or launch terror attacks etc. doesn't mean that the leadership, driving their mercedes and living the good life are stupid or irrational.
