Don't even try to act like it's only Democrats who do this. Karl Rove orchestrated a very successful "whispering campaign" against Ann Richards, drumming up the gay rumors about her as much as they could. And they tried it again with John Kerry.

When was that? Karl Rove was hardly a name to be reckoned with during the early Bush campaign days. I live in Texas at the time. You may want to think about the number of Republican candidates that are being taking apart this particular campaign season. We are not talking Perry, and Bachmann, but Thrump, Palin, Daniels and Cain for starters.
