Shame on Texas.
You're trolling, aren't you?

Who exactly does Obama truly care about, is it us Americans, or Mexicans. Funny way of showing loyality to those of you who voted for him.

You are viewing this as an isolated case instead as an international agreement between nations. If the U.S. failed to inform the consulate of Mexico that one of their citizens was arrested and you seem ok with that. How about if you were arrested in Turkey (or Mexico)? I guess it's ok for Turkey (or Mexico) not to inform the U.S. consulate -- and that's the point.

The U.S. signed this treaty not to protect Mexicans. It signed this treaty to protect Americans. We don't want our citizens laying in foreign jails without the United States government knowing about it. For that protection, we're willing to grant foreign nationals the same protection on our soil.

Remember he once told Latino voters to "punish your enemies"?

The states are not bound to that treaty. SCOTUS said so TWICE!

No, the states are not bound by rulings of the International Court of Justice. That's not the same thing as not being bound by treaties

They are NOT bound to that treaty. Never was. If you think they are, then what is this new legislation that the WH is writing up?

Who gives a spit about the international treaty, I for one don't. The man didn't violate 'international law', he violated american law and received an american trial and all the appeals that any american would get in the same circumstance. He was a monster that didn't deserve to breathe the same air as decent people. Good riddance to bad garbage. Bless Texas.

With respect to the treaty, the guilt or innocence of this particular is'nt relevant. What I'm concerned with is that due to this action, American citizens will not receive the protection they a due.

Heh. Suckers.

The one side breathes fire because Obama is going to stop this guy from frying.
The other side cheers Obama for following the laws or making friends or somehow being anti DP blah blah blah.

Truth be told, he merely played everyone again just like guantanamo, Iraq, getting those rotten oil companies and so on....

He paid some minor lip service to pick up some latino goodwill and then watched them flip the switch.....zzzzzzap. No doubt the anti-DP people on the left cheered Obamas heroic attempts to do the right thing LMAO.

Political stunt, the guy fried....still can't tell Bush has left the whitehouse.
