What is NASA going to do with the camera? It's long obsolete, so why not just let the man have it?

The same thing they do with all their old property. Liely sell it at auction to get back money for the taxpayer.You can sell stolen items you took form your emplyer if that is what the court decide.

His lawyer says they gave it to him years back. We'll see I guess. Anyway, I would love to see a refund to the taxpayer for most of the Shuttle program.
