Although they come off as being liberals, they mock politicians from both parties. I don't see why conservatives wouldn't watch them.

Many conservatives don't get intellectual humor.

Just like Fox news, if you don't agree with everything Republicans say, then you are a socialist and biased.
If there are 100 news shows, and 99 of them are biased, who is really pulling the wool over your eyes?
And I should add, the daily show is not a news show.

I watch Stewart/Colbert on occasion and at times agree with their take and/or laugh at the satire.
Is there a class you all took on making sweeping uninformed generalizations?

both of them are more liberal than me, but i like them anyway.
it is funny when they really "get" somebody, and make fun of them in a way that exposes the truth. that's usually what they do, and it's why i like them.
But... occasionally they pull a "Rachael Maddow" and will make fun of a conservative, while completely misunderstanding the conservative point-of-view, and that is annoying.

What sweeping uninformed generalization did I make?
I made an If/then statement, about 100 news organizations. Everyone knows there are far many more then that. But it is hypocritical for Fox to claim that everyone else is bias, and ignore their own.

Ummm... so? Comedy and satire have been fundamental to politics since Ancient Greece. Just think of Voltaire to Jonathan Swift to Benjamin Franklin to Mark Twain. I don't understand why you dismiss intelligent commentary exposing the hypocrisies and lies of our political leaders just because it's funny.
To the broader question, Fox gave orders to all of its shows to play select clips and try to disparage Jon Stewart last week. Stewart, of course, shot back with facts and destroyed their entire argument, so they've shut up now.
The burst of people with sudden opinions about Stewart came from these clips. They were just assuming Fox was being honest, but they haven't actually watched his show. Otherwise, they would have known they were wrong before having to be proven so by Stewart.
He really does lampoon the full political spectrum. Had a great bit about the debt ceiling and how the "capitalist utopia" and the "socialist utopia" both end in Armageddon.
