For a long time, Presidents past and present dye their hair, back and forth from their salt & pepper look, back to a solid youthfully appearance.

All to deceive the public and the message they are trying to push.

I have started to notice Governors, Senators and Reps doing it, especially if they are going to be on the televised media. Women politicians get a pass, with their known vanity issues. The campaigns for elected office, brings on the men movie stars.

If it is diplomatic they are salt & pepper.
If they are trying to make a message here to the homeland, they have a solid color of hair, unless it something very serious.

There are very few in politics that keep it real, these days. They are very rare.

I can only count those that refuse to be fake, on one hand.

How many fingers does that count force you to use.

I guess those pictures I have been seeing lately of Obama's black hair must be from 2008. Actually, I think that any time he shows up with black again he has done something with it.

Should I dye my mustache? It's gray while my head is still dark brown.

I thought I addressed the female.

It is not just Obama.

I think Reagan started it.

Don't remember Carter, or Nixon doing it.

Clinton and both Bush's did it.

It helps them play to the crowd they have targeted that day.

It always stunned me how quickly a president's hair grays.

Don't mind it though. A mark of experience if ya ask me.

By the way the 1981 vs now juxtaposition is rather hilarious as any black person can attest. Comparing a 1981 black and white half-tone year book picture vs a well lit contemporary images is risible. Welcome to the world of talented make-up and Photoshop.

Then just compare the first photo comparing 2010 to 2011 since she's been a politically active FLOTUS. Hillary changed her hairstyles and color quite a bit but that was over 8 years, not 2.5.
