That would be the one where he says under his plan "electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket" and coal plants would pass the retrofitting cost on to consumers. He of course didn't mention the part about "job loss, too."

"The coal industry is crying foul over new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations which they say will be among the most be costly rules ever imposed by the agency on coal-fueled power plants. The result, industry insiders say: substantially higher electricity rates and massive job loss."

EPA Regulations | Coal Industry | Job Loss | The Daily Caller

Meanwhile, while the Obama administration is knowingly planning to jack up your electricity rates, he's pushing electric cars. Doesn't any Presidential candidate have this campaign ad ready to go?

YouTube - ‪Obama: My Plan Makes Electricity Rates Skyrocket‬‏

He can't get cap and trade through Congress so he's making his EPA minions do the work around. Let's see if he runs for re-election on your electric rates going up which also means businesses' electric rates going up which means they'll pass down those costs to you in food and other products.

I am fine with it... sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide are pollutants... we should be trying to cap those.. I'll be glad to pay extra to decrease those pollutants.... carbon dioxide is completely different, I don't believe in man-made global warming fairy tales... the EPA is capping the true pollutants... I am fine with that...

Add in the obstruction of the proposed petroleum pipeline from Canada, a project that would generate 100,000 jobs, and what do you get? If Obama was trying to wreck the economy, he would pursue these same policies.

I can't believe anyone could be that malicious, so I'll mark it up to stupidity and ignorance.

It's occurred to that Obama wants his legacy to be forcing America into an electric vehicle nation. In the process developing alternate sources of electricity and reducing pollutants. The legacy he wants to ride into history.

Turns out, his legacy is going to be exposing the principles of his leftist base as a fraud. The only resulting benefit will Obama recognizing the utter humiliation of his failure when he's turned out of office next year. What a grand holiday season that will be !

I don't know if I'm more ticked off at Obama or the GOP candidates that don't capitalize on it.

Obama's got a point though. Coal is nasty, probably as much if not more than oil, but the truth of the matter is we need oil. Now I don't understand why he has decided against that pipeline...

While at it, he should also build a water pipeline; Southwest USA has been very irresponsible the way it's dealt with the Colorado River.

Water pipeline to steal water from the rest of us...spreading the H2O around as well as our wealth...Coal is 50% of our electricity the railroads are the pipeline that keeps the lights on,you in your everyday jobs, our computers to express our opinions.I wont forget the miners that risk their lives to give US cheap energy.Cheap reliable energy is the key for our prosperity to attract business... we need clean coal technology to export to China and India who will continue to build dirty coal power plants.
