Is she serious? Porn is a big industry that brings a lot of revenue. Yet another idiot violating the separation of church.

They have plenty of research that suggests monogamous families live happier lives, some of which is cited in the document Bachman signed.
The political bias of this so called pledge is quite evident.

It happily tells us "Slavery had a disastrous impact on African-American families, yet sadly a child born into slavery in 1860 was more likely to be raised by his mother and father in a two-parent household than was an African-American baby born after the election of the USA‟s first African-American President." yet conveniently overlooks that also mentioned in the very note it cites (3) that "Between 1940 and 1990, the percentage of
Black children living with both parents dropped from 75.8 percent to 33.2 percent" What happened between 1940-90 just wouldn't be as much fun as trying to blame Obama, eh?

WHAT a load of biased political tripe! No wonder Bachmann's involved

Fair enough. We obviously have a difference of opinion, but I can respect your stance, as well as appreciate that you took time to read the statement. Many here have not read it. It does not say she will ban pornography, it acknowledges that pornography undermines family values, and in some cases can pose a threat to children. I just wish more people would take the time to inform themselves before spouting off.

PS, I'm not even a Bachman supporter!

Of course there is bias. It is a family values group. Every interest group has bias. It wouldn't be an interest group otherwise!

I have an extremely difficult time taking a 'pledge' seriously when it starts with what is at best is an attempt at diversion from fact.

And the bias I pointed our in this case is a lame attempt at blaming the current POTUS for a trend its own source says has existed at least since 1940.

Just WHAT 'family value' does that represent?

this sounds like a script from a bad porn movie

"in ignorance"?

No, this religious, lying, demented gargoyle of a human is my Representative here in Minnesota.

I know ALL about Bachmann and what she says and will not take the word of some like minded screwy and obviously ignorant website against the repeated reporting of the FACTS by every NORMAL media outlet I know.
