Go ahead and impeach if it will make you feel better. The Senate won't convict and you will be where you started. The remedy if the President claims the 14th Amend gives him the authority is to sue, not impeach.

BTW, as irresponsible as Republicans are with the debt ceiling I don't blame anyone for thinking about the 14th.

A Very interesting article with a couple of videos that you should watch. It covers several reasons for this possibility including the debt ceiling, DOMA, Libya, refusing to enforce border laws and I can now add the Gunrunner - Fast and Furious lies.

The worst and most corrupt president in US history ignoring the rule of law?

The democrats who voted him into power deserve everything they are getting from Obama, including their high unemployment and economic misery. Perhaps this will be an expensive, yet valuable lesson for the nation.

Of course nothing is going to happen. Globalists don't put each other in jail, unless they know 100% that the proceedings are going to go nowhere and that no one else's name is gonna pop up during the proceedings. I tell ya, this government is as corrupt as a Latin American government

Just to add, who knows how long this gun runner scandal has been going on. It could have been going on during the Bush Administration as well which is why I suspect the GOP is not proceeding with impeachment.

File:World Map Index of perception of corruption 2010.svg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It places the U.S. at light blue, which is moderately corrupt. For me, I think the real color should be bright red because I believe our entire federal government spanning many administrations is as corrupt as Mexico's, Argentina's, Bolivia's, etc. We're just a lot better at hiding our crooks than the other countries

Congress is a bunch of wimps and they won't do anything.

Heck the best they've done about Libya is to tell the President.."can't give them weapons and can't train their rebels, but we'll continue to let you bomb the hell out of them from the sky."

Yeah..those wimps in Congress won't do a damn thing.
