Buffet has carried a lot of water for the Obama administration.
Buffet is good with investing but his politics stink.
More recently his timing going in and then out of Goldmann Sachs is highly questionable. That he owned a major stake in Moodys when Moodys failed to downgrade the credit of many of these derivitive holding big banks.......
Makes a person wonder about the oracle of Omaha and if in his old age he is not as squeeky clean as his reputation to date has led us to believe.
Then there is the part about a Soros fund recently buying out part of Con Agra's holdings.......
Great suggestion but who has to pass that law? I doubt that it will happen since the very people who would be affected have to pass the law. i certainly hope Buffet knows better than to think this can be done.

that might work, but it won't happen, we all know that, plus it wouldn't end the deficit right away, we still have to solve the immediate problems. Maybe if Buffet just gave all his money to the govenment we would make some serious progress.

even look at the 'weiner' resignation...he still is getting paid (a pension for LIFE)...and FREE healthcare (for life)...even as a person who resigns from office
Buffet is one of the biggest hypocrites alive. He talks about taxes needing to be raised on the wealthy, while he pays himslef 100k to hide from the taxes, all the while keeping his BIG money over seas and out of reach of Uncle Sam. Buffet IS one of the rich elite who he talks about raising taxes on, but he finds ways around it.
