It's kind of difficult as most people don't even know what is trillion is. A Billion is already too much for average citizen.

this is a point i have made several times. has anyone ever noticed that the rich people who call for higher taxes on the rich have their money put away where the federal government cant touch it?

Naw, hand over that $billion if it is too much for you. I think I can handle the responsibility.

Long and short of it is that Buffet was a Conservative before he took up with his mistress and joined the power elite. Like most powerful Progressives he thinks the rules no longer apply to him and that the little people should keep bailing out the corporate and government losses while profits are privatized. Buffett made a hellofalotamoney grabbing up stock just before the taxpayers bailedout Goldmann Sachs and then selling it again just before the world started looking closely at the power Goldmann Sachs weilds. Buffet could hand all that $$ profit back to the taxpayers by paying down the debt with it if he wanted to do so. But, that was Obama's little payback for Buffet's public vote of confidence in him during the 2008 election.

Buffett and Soros often include parts of the truth in what they say but look at their positions held and they always stand to profit greatly if/when the public follows their lead.

We had a responsible Representative in the House but she was replaced by a Republican Party hack.

You call the Pelosi spending spree responsible? On what planet. Pelosi is greatly responsible for the debtor nation we've become.

Oddly enough Pelosi wasn't responsible enough to pass a balanced budget while Obama was at the helm and she controlled the House.

That is all it takes to get your vote? No wonder folks like Obama end up in office.

How far would you like to go back to apply such ideas retroactively? Perhaps, instead you should debate the idea itself as opposed to being glued to your hatred of the democrats?
