Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations - Travel Channel

I found it very hard to find anything in Cuba that I didn't instantly love, the people especially are amazing and more outgoing than any other place I've ever visited. The show I just watched pointed out a lot of things that I noticed myself like the old American cars which seem to be taken care of better than most new cars here in America. The food was incredible and the place is as beautiful as any vacation destination I've seen in Mexico, Central/South America, the USVI or anywhere else for that matter.

While I do understand why we were at one point barred from traveling to Cuba I really wonder if it does anything but hurt both countries today. I would love to be able to freely travel to Cuba for personal reasons and would love to see us become trade partners, what do you think?
Normalize it those poor folks are tired of driving '57 Chevys and Buicks!

We should. There are lots of other free countries we can choose for cheap labor. Why should we support China?

End the embargo, and allow travel to Cuba. The Cold War is over! And besides, we trade with China for cryin' out loud!

End the embargo and quit pretending that we aren't a great deal responsible for all that has happened.

1. A better solution would be to make it at home.

2. That's never stopped us from engaging Communists.
