Here's what he needs to do.

But again, to match his $750 million from the 2008 cycle, Obama would need to average $107 million for seven quarters. Obviously, [it] is possible that Obama can make up ground in the next few quarters. But to hit that hyped $1 billion number, Obama would need to raise a bit more than $142 million per quarter.
I guess the lefties haven't heard the GOP donors/fundraisers haven't even geared up yet - we're waiting for a candidate.

And some of you think all those "rich folks" are Republicans.
Plenty of rich Dems and plenty wanting to see Obama stay in office so he can continue to protect their wealth.

Hopefully he will be able to accumulate enough to counter the massive amounts sure to come from the RW

I would say that you don't see that you just said that we have the kind of government money could buy in 2008 and now you think we will repeat that mistake because so many wealthy corporations and unions have donated to maintain what we "bought" in 2008.

You really do believe that we get the best government that money can buy.

Youse guys are willing to join the unions in buying the best government money can buy one more time. I wonder if they will figure out how to put him in for life since he is such a great money raiser.

When does he figure out how to raise some money for the nation to spend instead of just borrowing it on his credit card?

Really, I don't see how any comparison to GOP candidates can be made. There are still some (Perry) on the sidelines who will raise oodles of money....and don't forget all those evil outside groups that will raise hundreds of millions to make sure obama is a one termer.

So if Obama did violate the law you think that the House and the rest of this country should just turn a blind eye to the appearance of corruption?

Well, Shore you are right about how we must deal with things like that. I don't think many of these left leaners really think he can be brought to terms and they may be right as long as he has Holder to cover for him.
