The housing crisis could have been avoided, yes. But then what did we do? We told the banks that it's okay to take unnecessarily big risks. Don't worry, we'll bail ya out! A dog doesn't learn to stop ****ting on the carpet if you give it a treat whenever it does.
And I do believe VA has quite a bit of swamp land. And I don't think the US is near the USSR, my point was that you seem to be grouping people who want less taxes and less overall interference with people who want everything privatized. Technically you clearly don't a clue about what you're saying. The US Federal gov. was never intended to be as large and inefficient as it is today.
