By the time I got out of College drugs had taken over the thinking of Americans. Even those who didn't use them started to pay the price. Now it is an international business and every American will pay for our complacency. Families, villages, town, cities and states Paying the price. Morbidity of the mind is the disease that we fail to fight. Our leaders, our entertainers, our sports heros. Those who form public opinion. We have given it all away. There is none, who can fix it. Most or our leaders have been compromised and everyone is looking for an angle................Greed and unabated speculation has brought us to this Brink..............the only thing we can do is vote in such a way that term limits are imposed. That means for Illinois Governor I will vote Republican, for President Republican,on down if a politician has been there 4 years, I vote to retire him. What are you going to do?

Yes, the useless war on drugs is ruining America.

All drugs should be legal. We don't need government to tell us what to eat, drink or smoke.

I'm more worried about the intentional poisoning of our water supply, GMO's, and the BPA in our food packaging personally. Everyone needs water and food to live; drugs, not so much. I never found it difficult to "just say no". YMMV

My brother was an addict. He was 46 when he died. He looked like he was 76. If you just legalize all drugs the bodies will fill the streets. There won't be enough body bags. Of course that "might" be the kindest thing you could do for dopers.

You have it backwards. The war on drugs has increased drug use, ruined millions of lives and cost the taxpayers billions of dollars.

And nobody is advocating increased drug use.

There is no reason government should tell us what to eat, drink or smoke.

.......do you trust these idiot's in power to keep it clean. In the Chicago we drink from lake Michigan.
Milwakuee is always emptying their sewers into the lake and getting caught.....sooner or later this sloppy management will kill us all.

Legalize em and have everybody sign off that they can't sue when they're teeth fall out and they wake up next to a sheep they thought was a hot chick the night before. Let em all kill themselves and move on. That is all that will happen. Make red light districts that doors lock at 2am and if your stuck behind you gotta stay alive till they open again next day. Sounds like fun. Detroit sounds like it would make a good "red light" city. Seal it off and let the dopers do as they please there. Air drop the stuff into em. Then the networks could also start a Running Man show to boot.
