Yeah, that's exactly the point of the article. Do you even bother to read links before you express absurd partisan opinions?

"tIndeed, Schwartz spent much of her testimony attacking the Republican proposal to replace Medicare with private insurance subsidies starting in 2022. She rejected the notion that the IPAB would ration care, but described it as a blunt instrument that could unintentionally weaken the healthcare law’s efforts to curb healthcare costs by blindly cutting payments to doctors and hospitals."

I think that intelligent people can concur that the Affordable Health Care Act is, like most legislation, imperfect so I have no problems with my representative, Congresswoman Schwartz's measured objections.

From the link. Didn't say anything about waste, fraud and abuse. THat is handled by the justice dept.

She has legitimate concerns about what happens if spending exceeeds the arbitrary threshold recommended by the IPAB. Since more people become Medicare eligible everyday, there is quite a possibility that cuts will be triggered.

However to attempt to start a thread based upon a link, that you obviously didn't read, is more than amusing.
Why would you say that? The link and accompanying correctly express the sentiment. You may think it is measured however the Washington Dems attempted to silence her, by her own account. They clearly view her as a threat.
