Israel is going to wave a magic Torah, or are they going to invade Iranian airspace?
Never underestimate Israels ability. They don't say everything they have or will do. My guess is that they will use nukes to make the problem go away.

The minute they launch even one nuclear weapon in a pre-emptive strike their entire existence will be wiped out. That is what you do. The bigger question is why should the US care? Iran is absolutely zero threat to us and our country. Let Israel take care of their own problems.

Can't rep ya, so two's up!

If Israel and/or Iran were blown off the map tomorrow, I would not give one piece of dog sh*t about it.

Let Israel take care of itself. We got ourselves in enough crap because of that leech.

So, since Europe knows we would help them in a war, cut their defense budgets, and hide in the shadow of the American military, they're a leech.

Let's just not help any of our allies in a war, so when the insane dictator does decide to lead 5+ million soldiers into the United States, we have no support from anyone...

We give support to many countries, we even give foreign aid to China, who is lending us money. Are they all leeches just because we give them foreign aid?

Europe is way more of a leech militarily than Israel. Because of our massive subsidization of their defense, they have had the funds to pay for lavish social programs. Guns vs. butter. We still spend billions per year operating bases in the UK and Germany....

Also, out of all those countries on our foreign aid teat, how many would stab us in the back? People whine about our loans to Israel, but what about the financial black hole that is Pakistan?

Touche! Good analogy. I do think we should take out the majority of the bases we have in Europe. Why are we still there?
We have pacts to support most of our Allies in case of war, Israel is no different

Looks like we can do some more cutting!

No, Siemens built the dual-reactors. They were damaged during the Iraq-Iran War. Iran contracted with Russia to rebuild them.

Russia has also offered to provide Iran with enriched uranium so that Iran wouldn't need to enrich its own.

Nukes? On what?

You still just can't grasp the concept.

You don't need nuclear reactors to build nuclear weapons. Destroy the dual-reactors at Bushwher and nothing will happen very slowly. It will not stop any alleged nuclear weapons program, because....

....nuclear reactors are not needed to produce nuclear weapons.

That's like Common Sense 101.

I don't rely on Pukipedia, and what the contractor claims a weapon will do, doesn't mean the weapon performs that way in reality.

You should know that a spherical shock-wave is generated caused by expanding gases. For chemical explosives, that's limited to about 100,000 to 200,000 atmospheres initially (but 10 Million to 500 Million atmosphere for a nuclear explosion).

As the shock-wave moves outward, the medium -- rock, sand, earth -- is put into radial compression and tangential tension. That's what causes radial cracks. And that's what causes (in part) the rapid reduction in pressure (in atmospheres).

On the other side of this expanding shock-wave you have a deformation of the medium by plastic flow, up until the point the peak pressure of the shock-wave front decreases to a value that equals plastic limit of the medium (and that will be different for dry soil, wet soil, dry sand, wet sand, rock of differing types etc).

That's what forms the crater.

We use the formula d = m/kt^0.3 (where kt^0.3 is the kilo-tonnage of the warhead -- and yes you can use conventional 2,000 pound and 3,000 pound bombs) to figure that out.

So, no, it won't work.

Israel is not an ally. We have no defense obligations to them. We just act as if we did. They have no defense obligations to us; they act accordingly.

That is the argument anti-American elements also make to recruit against American interests and its security, that America is Israel's unconditional ally.
