I'm 2,000 miles away from that sinking ship with one of the nation's worst balance sheets and a beyond-awful credit rating, so at least some of their citizens have come to the conclusion that Illinois is not the place to be or to move to.

Most of the high crime neighborhood folks aren't going anywhere. They can't afford to move. Peddle your panic all you want but your statement has no merit in reality.

I don't fall for the whole "blue state/ red state" stuff but as someone that has lived in Chicago and it's burbs and moved to a lower cost state it's really night and day.
