Big surprise there.

This is going to be long and painful for Murdoch without a doubt. Every day it gets worse and worse for him.

It sure is.

Something the right wing defenders here don't seem to understand is that over there the outrage is on both sides of the aisle. There is no political divide in regards to this matter. Everybody realizes that what his organization has done is immoral. In America (and on CD-the American fringe) they just try to find a way to deflect it. They will only be able to do this for so long...

No, Fox News currently has a headline blazing on their front page about "gay activists".

Also, Rebekah Brooks has been arrested.

Fox news will certainly survive. But will Murdoch manage to retain control and, if not, will a new owner maintain its conservative posture?
That's definitely the question.

The prospect of owning all of sky is off the table for now already.

OH, I so disagree. I think Rachel Maddow is more interested in hearing herself talk. Yes, she actually could be a good journalist, if she would just shut up. She is no more or less, a Partisan hack, like Bill O'Reilly. Get her on Bill Maher, and I just want to put duct tape over her mouth

Stop, listen, what's that sound.... hopefully, not Rachel
Maddow

Don't be silly. Of course Americans are fair. Unlike you, they will not judge then entire organization by the actions of one of it's branches. Not even the looniest of left wing loons has suggested News Corp. Had any idea News of the World was doing this.

The Fox reporting is pretty fair IMHO. For example:

Of course, if I were running Fox I would be contingency planning for a future without the Murdochs.
