Not really. Fans of some of the shows are like that, anything that is us vs. them, poo poo on the Republicans is all they care about and want to hear.

But for the most part, MSNBC isn't across the board with a party agenda like Faux News, and they don't try in vain to portray themselves as 'Fair and Balanced'. Someone who watches MSNBC is far more likely to look at other news sources, form their own opinions, be more interested in figuring out what is the best solution for whatever issue. The typical Faux News viewer isn't interested in that, which explains why they get such high ratings even though the vast majority of the country thinks they are full of crap.

The 'us vs. them', devisive, hate filled propaganda they spew 24x7 attracts a hardcore following, and attracts people who are generally unstable and upset about their lives to begin with. It's a 'release', an 'outlet' for their anger...Every problem in the world, and thus their life, is because of some 'lib', if it wasn't for those damn 'libs' everything would be better!

Fact is, it is against US Law for a person convicted of a crime, owning TV Media. If Murdoch winds up convicted in England, he cannot own FOX, or FOX itself may not be able to be broadcast.

What self-serving tripe.

Kind of a special blend of serial killer/cult leader/CEO look to them...????
So is this an example of what an informed, intelligent person is like?

Based on what I've seen, pretty much, but MSNBC has a counter-bias. BUt reporting in the U.S. news media in general is pretty amateurish.

Barack Hussein: So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Is this really what you believe?

What do Progressives have to offer? Utopia?

Whatever notion I might have is none of your business. And to assume that people with conservative values ( including millions of Independents ) are upset about their lives is asinine.

The Progressives who are all about diversity are apparently much more judgemental than they act to be. The truth is that Progressives have an agenda which would wipe away history, traditions, religions, exceptionalism and the way of life in the middle of the country. Progressives plan to change America and the World by molding the heartland into something to their liking.

This is a big mistake that all Progressives make. They can't see clearly. They continue to hang around like mosquitos. Very annoying. But Democrats are a minority in this country ( no, you can't count illegal Mexicans ).

The reason that many folks in the fly-over states tune into Fox News, is because it reports fairly. Everyone knows that if you go to NBC, ABC, CBS or MSNBC, all you will get is a Liberal lovefest.

Too bad GAisGreat,
Middle America will not be suckered into your platitude.

Outstanding post Otherwise I don't see anything changing at fox no matter what charges and wrongdoing Murdoch does. They will just make up some kind of excuse and spin it like he did nothing wrong just like right wingers do every time someone with an (R) next to their name does something stupid.

The same could be said of Comcast. If they wind up convicted of a crime NBC, MSNBC, CNBC could suffer the same fate.

In the end its no different than what we have seen for deacdes. Was CBS hurt by the jury findings in its reporting in the westmoreland case. this isn't even nyhting but lookig into a possiblity. So far its not even hurt the other british tabloids. In the end its similar to one politican being convicted of corruption ;its more likely to cast doubt if more are not involved thru out the profession of investigative journalism. But only to the extent of people wandering really.
