It seems the left doesn't like him and it also seems the right doesn't like him. Maybe we've finally found somebody who isn't a toe sniffing tool of either party? Oops the banks seem to like him so that's not good. But the banks are in the pockets of em all except Ron Paul. Maybe a Paul/Romney ticket is the answer?
Paul is strongly disliked by the corporate owned republicans like Romney, there isn't a chance he'll get one of them to endorse, let alone run with him.

If Romney gets nominated I may have to stand in the voting booth more than 5 seconds deciding between him and Obama. Anyone else who is running now gets my mark immediately. I just don't like or trust Romney but maybe that feeling for him is less than for Obama.

I'll write you in. May see the lowest turnout in history if Obama/Romney end up on the ticket. lol
Being disliked by both sides may be indicative of moderation, but it also may be indicative of a lack of principles. The latter seems to better fit Romney. I predict that he'll fail to excite the GOP base for the same reason McCain did. He and McCain are very similar in the abstract sense.
But it isn't like there are any other viable candidates for the Republican party. Everyone else either doesn't stand a chance getting the nomination, gets trounced by Obama by double digits currently, or both. Their best bet is to go with Romney and play as hard as they can.
